Laurel is named by the qualities of the laurel tree leaves originated from the Olive tree family. The three important qualities are evergreen nature, healing oil tendency and its usage as the leaves used for crowning after victory. Keeping in mind these qualities of the olive tree family- it is expected that all the laurelites would attain these noble qualities in their lives.
Laurel Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established in the year 1994. It's run by the Laurel Educational Trust in Coimbatore, South India. The management are the pioneers of education for the past 30 years with excellent track records. Laurels is known for its discipline and high quality of education. It has carved many leaders, engineers, doctors, businessmen, entrepreneurs, administrators, officials, intellects since 1994 and are all well placed across the globe in various settings of life.
Dedicated board & experienced staff members over the years have put their ardent efforts in the upliftment of the school & to bring Laurels to Laurels. The unique thought of laurels is "All are teachable", and having its motto "Honour in Honesty" and
aim "Strive for Excellence".
